Photo image of White Sage Mountain. White Ceremonial Sage is the Traditional Native American herb used for "Smudging", purifying and restoring energy. This is the way to clean most things, gems, crystals, or healing areas.

Use 2 or 3 White Sage leaves by lighting them and then blow them out. Allow them to smolder in a flame retardant dish or shell. Small items may be passed through the smoke slowly. You may also clean your whole house by slowly walking through it and gently waving the dish or shell in all directions.

To cleanse yourself or someone else, move the shell or dish up and down the body and spread the smoke with your hand. It is believed that a feather will do a better job of purifying than your hand.
