I've spent most of my life living in Michigan. I had a very rewarding career as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the public schools.

In 1994 I decided to refocus my life, escape from the cold weather, and move to the beautiful Verde Valley in Arizona’s high desert.

I live a simple and peaceful life here in the valley. It is beautiful everywhere I look. There are fantastic sights and interesting stories about the settling of this land and the ancient cultures that have inhabited it. I feel very much at home here.

Since moving to Arizona I’ve been fortunate enough to pursue some of my life’s passions. Playing the flute being one of those passions and probably the strongest and most joyful activity that I have encountered.

When I play I open myself to whatever comes. It is as though I connect with a higher energy and the music flows from my heart. It is a very moving experience.

I enjoy teaching people how to play the Native American flute.  I've had many heart warming experiences and have met wonderful people.  My students have given me terrific feedback on how playing their flute has given them joy and satisfaction.

It’s exciting to be able to help people free the music in their heart.
